This simple Christmas and New Year postcard was sent to Mr. and Mrs. William Shryack by Jessie M. The postmark is illegible. The message on the front of the card says, "With hearty greetings and the best of all good wishes for Christmas and the New Year.", Marked "No. 1921."

A handmade program for a Christmas concert at the Brush Creek School. Titled "Merry Christmas to All." Undated. 28 performances are listed, along with the names of the performers. The performers include Ralph Beck, Mittie Borah, Eddie Long, Mamie Long, Roy Long, Willie Long, Miss Mahoney, Alan Metheny, the Peterson Girls, Leila Peterson, Lilliam Peterson, Dorothy "Dora" Shryack, Paul Shryack, and Byron Zartman.

Denver & Rio Grande Railroad along the Eagle River, ca. 1899

This photograph was taken from a car on the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad sometime around 1899. The photographer is presumed to be Prof. Charles Peter Berkey. Professor Berkey was in Colorado as part of a school trip from the University of Minnesota. He came with mining students from that university to study the "practical science of mining."

This photograph of the Eagle River Canon was taken around 1885 by Alexander Martin. At the center-bottom of the image, you can see the tracks of the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad. In the cliffs above, you can see various structures and buildings that are no doubt related to mining activities in the area.
