: Fraternal Order of the Eagles (Grand Junction, Colorado); Eagle Aerie #595 of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.), with over 415 Aerie and 279 Auxiliary members, is located minutes from Downtown Grand Junction, Colorado at 1674 US-50. The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality, to make human life more desirable by lessening its ills and promoting peace, prosperity, gladness and hope. "People helping people" is a statement that guides the charitable actions of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Throughout 2018, the organization and it's more than 650,000 members are dedicated to upholding a commitment to charitable giving and reinforcing the F.O.E. as a valuable resource in building communities. These efforts start with continuing a commitment to charity.

: Fred G. Brunk's Comedians (United States); A traveling drama and vaudeville troupe who put on plays known then as "tent shows." It was run by seven brothers with seven different shows and territories. According to oral history interviewee Chuck Thomas, the troupe that performed in Colorado and New Mexico was a tent show that traveled by truck. It consisted of 8 to 12 actors at any one time, and additional "canvas men" to set up the tent. The show played three nights in each town, and consisted of good actors, including some with Hollywood acting experience. Plays it perfromed included "Watch Your Darling Daughter" and "King Kong". They began in the 1920's and went strong until the 1940's. When they played in Grand Junction, they set up their tent in a field at 8th and Main Street, where the Public Services Building was eventually built. To drum up interest for their acts, they "ballyhooed" in front of the First National Bank building on a Monday afternoon, announcing their plays for the week.
