Bob Garber

Robert (Bob) Garber was born on May 24, 1930 in Chicago. He grew up in Chicago and attended the University of Illinois Champagne campus, on a GI bill (Bob was a veteran of the Korean war). Bob became an architect and helped to build high rises in Chicago.
Garber then moved to Telluride, Colorado, in the 1970's, to help to develop the ski area. He also wanted to become more of his own boss and get out of the city. Bob served on the Town of Telluride's Planning and Zoning committee as a commissioner. He continued to have a long and successful career in Telluride, Colorado. Bob passed away in 2021.
