A Plateau Valley surgeon and doctor who kept his office in Plateau City and made house-calls to patients in the early Twentieth century. He was a member of the Mesa County Medical Society and worked for the state legislature.
A Jewish doctor from Vienna, Austria. In 1937, an American doctor, Dr. Rigg, went to Vienna to study for a year and he met Dr. Waldafal. Due to the brewing conflict of the Hitler era, Dr. Rigg invited Dr. Waldafal to come and practice in Grand Junction, CO. He did. In 1954, Dr. Waldafal passed away, followed by his wife in 1964.
