Ed Lavender
Stepfather of author David Lavender and an acquaintance of Andrew E. Riddle. Ed ran a pack train in the Telluride, Colorado area and had about three hundred pack animals that were mostly mules. He made a deal with a cowpuncher named Cy Orr to transport a great deal of cattle up from Texas and into Bedrock, Colorado. Also, he owned a cattle range east of Paradox called the Club Ranch and had an issue with wild burros eating his grass so he had to kill many of them.
Ed Owen
Ed was a student at H Street School in the late 19th century.
Ed Scott
A Mesa County, Colorado pioneer who was born in Cuba, Indiana and died in Grand Junction, Colorado. He suffered from extreme arthritic stiffness in both back and neck from young adulthood to the time of his death, but he maintained good cheer in spite of this. He worked for Virgil Gilcrest in the Red Truck clothing store on Main Street. The 1920 U.S. Census lists him as the store manager. He was the ‘great-half-uncle-in-law’ of Jean Page.
