: Edna Davis Romick; According to oral history interviewee Cecilia Cardman, Romick was a poet in Boulder, Colorado who published several books, including: The Flash of Wings, These are the Fields, The Heart Affirming, and An Amherst Garden. She helped her friend Cardman, an Italian immigrant, pass her spelling test at the University of Colorado.
