Eleanor M. (Haller) Harrison
Obituary - Steamboat Pilot, August 25,1983, Page 5 Mrs. Frank Harrison The Hayden community was saddened Tuesday morning on learning that Mrs. Frank Harrison had passed away the preceding night at the hospital. Mrs. Harrison had lived in this community nearly all of her life. She was the mother of five living children and the wife of Frank Harrison who survives her. She had been seriously ill but a few hours and her passing was a great shock to her family and friends. Mrs. Harrison's maiden name was Elinor M. Haller and she was born in Kenasaw, Nebr., November 17, 1900. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Haller, well known citizens of Hayden and Phippsburg for many years. She received most of her schooling at Hayden. About 18 years ago she was married to Frank Harrison, son of well known pioneers. Mr. and Mrs. U.F. Harrison. To this union seven children were born, five of them surviving, one boy and four girls. The Harrisons have had their full share of misfortune, one boy being drowned, one girl lost thru sickness, and the father had his hand crippled in working on the road. At the time of writing the funeral is expected to be held Wednesday afternoon at the Hayden church and interment will be made at the Hayden cemetery. The sympathy of the community goes out to the husband and the children at this time of terrible bereavement.
