: Francisco "Pancho" Hansen; Born in Chiapas, Mexico, Pancho Hansen played soccer professionally in Mexico and has coached soccer in various capacities throughout his life. After moving to Lafayette in 1991, Pancho quickly integrated himself into Lafayette’s sports community. In August 2024, the City of Lafayette made a declaration honoring Pancho’s many years of service to the community’s youth. Pancho and his wife, Leslie Davis, have two children.

: Francisco Vázquez de Coronado; Francisco Vázquez de Coronado y Luján (1510 – 22 September 1554) was a Spanish conquistador and explorer who led a large expedition from Mexico to present-day Kansas through parts of the southwestern United States between 1540 and 1542. Vázquez de Coronado had hoped to reach the Cities of Cíbola, often referred to now as the mythical Seven Cities of Gold, which is a term not invented until American gold-rush days in the 1800s. His expedition marked the first European sightings of the Grand Canyon and the Colorado River, among other landmarks. His name is often Anglicized as "Vasquez de Coronado". : Frank "Pop" Davis; Truant officer for Grand Junction in his older years. He coordinated his efforts with Dorothy Tindall to get the children of the migrant workers who lived at La Colonia (in what is now Las Colonias) to attend school more often.

: Frank "Sully" Sullivan; A dentist and member of the U.S. Navy. He was a good friend of Peter Matteroli, and together they passed the dental board examinations in Salt Lake City.

: Frank A. Berg; He was a Swedish immigrant who brought his family to the Highpoint area, just north of Fruita, in 1894. There, the family had a forty acre homestead. He planted fruit orchards and other crops, and irrigated his land from the Grand River Ditch. He built a dugout for the family to live in upon arrival, and built a house with a lean-to kitchen in 1897. In 1905, he remodeled the home, so that it had eight rooms.
