Frank was born in the Standard Mine settlement in Lafayette, CO on March 2, 1913. Frank married his wife, Helen, on June 26th, 1936. They had one child named Frank, who passed away as a young man.

U. S. Government surveyor and engineer. Early Twentieth century Mesa County resident who lived in Fruita, Colorado and knew Monument Canyon "like the back of his hand". Was called upon to help assess the potential of Rim Rock Drive in the beginning stages.

Frank Michael Simonetti Jr.

He was born in Grand Junction, Colorado to Italian immigrants Frank and Angelina (Audino) Simonetti. His father worked for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad. His mother was a homemaker. He attended the Whitman School and St. Joseph’s Catholic School. He graduated from Grand Junction High School, where he was a member of the Hi-Y Club, the Latin Club, Kalklub, and the National Honor Society.
He served in the United States Army Air Corps as a Staff Sergeant in WWII. He was stationed in Florida for two years, Italy for five months, French Morocco five months, and in Paris for five months. He did ground support and furnished ordinance for the planes.
Upon returning home, he got a job with Citizen’s Finance. He worked there for many years, and later served their board as treasurer. He became a full board member for the last few years before the company was sold in 1965. He went to a training in Denver in 1964 to learn the uses of their new IBM system, which he helped Citizen’s Finance integrate into the company. He left Citizen’s Finance in 1968 and taught business at Mesa College for a year before retiring. At the time of his retirement he was a Vice President of the company. In 1969, he helped found the Pulsar Corporation and Tri Star Corporations with Robert Van Houten.
He was an avid photographer.

Frank Miller

Frank Miller was born and raised in Lafayette, CO. His grandparents were Lafayette and Mary Miller. He was married on July 2, 1919 to Williametta "Billie" Kuntz. Frank was a rural mail carrier for 38 years.
