Highschool classmate of William Weiser. He once beat a teacher of his and his father bought him a one-way ticket to the Klondike as a result (the idea being to send him “so far away, he’d never get back by night time”). In fact, he was away from the Grand Valley for thirty years. He brought some souvenir gold nuggets with him. He bought a place on North Twelfth Street and ran a vineyard. He was also the state highway maintenance person for Western Colorado.
