Jesse Howard Dodson

Circulation manager for The Daily Sentinel in the early Twentieth century. He was born in Pennsylvania. US Census records show him living in Grand Junction and working for the telephone company in 1910, at the age of 33. By 1920, he was working for The Daily Sentinel, overseeing delivery boys in Grand Junction. Ted Winterburn remembered him as a nice man who was tactful when reprimanding his employees. He was married to Margaret (Roberts) Dodson, the daughter of Welsh immigrants who was also born in Pennsylvania. They had four children. Jesse and Margaret are buried in the Masonic Cemetery.
