- Born in Stockholm, Sweden. Came to America as an exchange student to Wisconsin during college. Came to Vail in 1965. Was married in Mid Vail in 1968. Special interests weaving, designing, sewing and skiing.

- Monte Ramsay
- According to oral history interviewee Ted Winterburn, Ramsay owned a auto repair shop at the intersection of North 7th Street and White Avenue. The garage had a large storage room in the back, where lawyers, doctors, and others who needed to use their cars in all weather paid to park. Winterburn manned the boiler, heating the garage so that the car radiators would not freeze.
